Ms. Fay's 7th graders were the first TA class to try out the makerspace. Our motto was "Fail Forward!" - in others words, we learn from our failures and try again. One group took apart an old radio and an old telephone...reminder: you have to be able to put it back together - oops! Another group tried to make buttons for Earth Day. They'll be back next week to give it another go. Several students had to work together to get our robotic ball, Sphero, to connect; but they had lots of fun crashing it into things and taking it over jumps once they figured it out. We also had a few computers set up to work on coding. As you can see from the slideshow below, we had FUN (and, of course, learned a lot)!
